Abbey Lodge is a spacious, superbly-appointed Four Bedroom Holiday Lodge, Identical to Saxon Lodge but we also permit well-behaved pets*.
*This is currently our only pet friendly Lodge on the Park. Please be assured that we maintain it to the same exceptionally high standard as all of our accommodation – and our cleanliness is second to none.
Abbey Lodge offers the following: One King Bedroom; One Double Bedroom; Two Twin Bedrooms; Two full-size Bathrooms; Open-plan Lounge, Dining area and well-appointed Kitchen with integrated appliances including Wine Cooler, Dishwasher, Washer/Dryer, large Fridge/Freezer and Microwave. There is a large flat screen TV in the lounge and a smart TV in the Master Bedroom. Outside there is a large individual Decking Area with comfortable Rattan Furniture overlooking the Green. White linen and soft towels are provided for your comfort as well as complimentary toiletries and welcoming goodies.
Abbey Lodge has its own private driveway for your personal parking. Additional parking is available.
Complimentary use of our on-site Fitness Suite is included. We also have a small Shop for basic provisions.
Abbey Lodge is fully Double Glazed and Centrally Heated throughout – very cosy and warm even during the colder months. The Lodges are available for short breaks, seven day breaks or longer. Check-in days are flexible and special requests are catered for where possible.
The Park is nestled in a quiet, countryside location, surrounded by the picturesque Dorset hills and hedgerows. It provides the perfect escape for you to unwind whilst the bustling, Medieval Market Town of Shaftesbury is just 2 miles away with it’s great cafes, restaurants and pubs. Our Park is an ideal base from which to explore this stunning region.
Close to the borders of Dorset, Wiltshire and Somerset there are many places to explore. Some of the closest (and most famous) being Gold Hill in Shaftesbury, Longleat Safari Park, Stourhead, Stonehenge, and King Alfred’s Tower. Other attractions such as Glastonbury Tor, Monkey World, Salisbury, Bath, Bournemouth and the Jurassic Coast are all approximately an hour’s drive away.
